Inspiration: Poppies Provincial

22 Nov

I am so in love with today’s concept! I’ve always been a fan of French provincial style. For today’s design I opted for a unique light gray and orangey-red color palette. This poppy bouquet I found from Small Stump is aaaamazingly perfect, pretty yet rustic and wild feeling. Nothing says french countryside to me like roosters and chicken wire, so I love little details that bring them in. Maybe a chicken wire lined board with seating cards attached by mini wooden clothes pin. And how cute would these rooster stamped cloth napkins look for the place settings? It would be so French for the bride to sport these little gray booties instead of traditional heels. And how about a wine and cheese tasting for cocktail hour. Tres bien, oui oui!

[…] Beautiful wedding. I love the bridesmaids dresses. Gray is one of my fave neutral colors to pair with a bold color. Check out this gray and orangey-red French provincial style inspiration board:http://idoloveit.com/2010/11/22/poppies-provincial/ […]
