Freshly Picked: Bouquets in Season

17 Jan

There are so many beautiful flowers in season during the winter. Picking flowers in season really cuts your floral costs down. And wintery flowers don’t have to look “wintery” – some beautiful flowers in season right now include:

Daffodils – great alone or mixed
Orchids – a white orchid bouquet is beautiful but I love this purple one!
Ranunculus – this popular flower comes in different colors and looks great alone or mixed
Sweet Peas – typically used a filler flower, this pale purple bouquet shows how they can look amazing as the featured flower as well. They come in whites, pinks and purples.
Tulips – One of my favorites! Makes a very clean & sleek bouquet alone but also more romantic when mixed with fillers.
Narcissus – this little yellow flower is more of a filler, but adds a great pop of color as you can see in the bottom right where its mixed with pale pink rananculus!

Here are some great examples of bouquets using in season flowers!
