Today’s Dress: Modern Trousseau (Spring 2012)

5 May

Today’s Dress is actually two dresses from the Modern Trousseau Spring collection. The gown and the short dress have the same unique lace that I love. I love how the satin under skirt peeks out on the long gown and I love the 3/4 sleeve boat neck overlay of lace on the short dress. What a perfect pair these would make for a ceremony and reception set!

Today’s Dress: Silk Ruffle Milly Gown at Nordstrom

3 May

How precious is this Milly silk ruffle trim gown at Nordstrom? I love the delicate feminine ruffle at the neckline. The waterfall of petite ruffles in the back is the money shot and the ruffles are lined with ribbon that matches the ribbon at the waistline. Pretty, just so pretty!

Today’s Dress: Collette Dinnigan (Summer 2011)

2 May

I came across this dress on Polka Dot Bride where the whole Collette Dinnigan summer collection is featured and it really took my breath away. The bead work and netting on the bodice of this dress by the Australian designer is sheer perfection and balances perfectly with the simple A-Line skirt. This dress is MAGNIFICENT!

Today’s Dress: Badgley Mischka (Spring 2012)

26 Apr

Holy ball gown Badgely Mischka! This wedding gown is so regal. The sash detail across the front reminds me of those sashes British Royalty wear when they get all dresses up. This dress is totally fit for a princess. Gorgeous!

Today’s Dress: Jenny Yoo (Spring 2012)

21 Apr

Today’s dress is a flowy Jenny Yoo gown. I was really drawn to the uniqueness of the bodice. It’s a strapless bodice with a draped halter that comes out of the waistline which minimalistic floral belt. Each part is simple on its own but together it’s all quite striking and I think it’s a very romantic dress!

Today’s Dress: Watters & Watters (Spring 2012)

19 Apr

Today’s dress is my favorite from the Watters & Watters 2012 Spring Collection. It’s the first blush gown, to my knowledge, from the designer and its pure perfection! The perfect blush shade keeps it more ethereal than girly girl. I love the short flared skirt layer and the little rosettes. It’s just a magical wedding gown!

Today’s Dress: Vera Wang (Spring 2012)

14 Apr

Today’s dress is my Vera Wang Spring 2012 collection pick! I feel as though Vera is going to become more famous for her hued dresses than her white ones. She is killing it with these romantic shades of non-white dresses. Naturally my favorite off the runway is this neutral toned beauty. I love the mix of beige and taupe. The bodice is so perfectly structured and the belt is not to feminine to compete with the girly ruffles at the bottom. I’m in LOVE.
